2 Days Left!!

Just a reminder that it's 2 days until the Mini Occasions catalog is closed out! It will be a sad day!! I truly do love the papers and stamps in this issue.....going to miss them! (However, I don't give up my stamps very easily, so you just might see some posts in the future with more ideas with the stamps that are going away!)

So, with another look at the gorgeous paper from the Mini.....here's a Thank You card that I designed that I hope you'll enjoy and get another glimpse at the many possibilities with this Twitterpated Designer Series paper! :-)

Blushing Indigo!

Have you ever had a stamp set that sits on your shelf and you just never seem to have a need for using it.....even though you like it?! I have several of those! Soooooo......I purposely set out to use one of them! Lol.

It's a great stamp set.....called 'My Friend' and I think it worked well with this design. Let me know what you think. :-)

I do love these colors together, and yes, as I've said before I just LOVE this DSP paper pack from the Mini Occasions! Don't forget to get yours before it's no longer available! Only one more week left for the Mini Occasions goodies!!

Have fun throwing buttons, pearls, ribbon and curled up paper into little flowers, into your cards! Makes it so much fun and interesting.....even if it's only you that thinks so! ;-)  It's your creation, right?!

MDS Easter Fun!

It's been awhile since I've posted a digital scrapbook page from "My Digital Studio."  Easter antics was the perfect opportunity to break out the camera and get some fun pics of the kids! They had such a great time running all around the house searching for eggs.....and then consuming the goodies inside. :-)

There's not much better in this world than watching your kids have enormous amounts of fun and enjoyment! Don't you think? :-)

Hope you enjoy another example of the endless possibilities with MDS! So easy to use and create quickly with!

White Peony

Ok, I'm trying really hard to come up with some simple designs, occasionally.....less layers and less time consuming because I'm so short on extra time to 'play' these days! I know many of you are in the same boat. Too much to do in so little time! :-)

My little girl is blossoming overnite into a young tween.....wanting to spread her wings, show her independence and yes, try and act and dress older than she really is. Sigh. It's a full time job, in itself, of trying to slow the process to an acceptable limit. Lol. If only they could realize there is no rush on this journey.......and so much for them to miss out on on just being a kid!

So, with the few opportunities I have to get in my craft room, here's a look at a 'simple' card! The flowers are made with just a series of different sized circle punches from Stampin' Up! The more circles you use, the thicker the flower. I distressed everything with ink to give it a more 'aged' look. The stamp set is "Tea Shoppe"......just love it!!
Hope you enjoy and have fun using the design in your own creations!

Noooooooo!!! Stamps going away!

It's that time again....pleasure and pain.....great stamps going away to make way for new stamps coming in! Be quick about getting what you want because it tends to go very quickly!!

Rue Des Fleurs!

I'm so sad to say that time is speeding towards the end of the Mini Occasions items! This has been such an amazing collection of wonderful stamps, papers and accessories that I'll bee so sad to see go, but will definitely reman in my stamp collection! :-) I'm even stocking up on the Designer Series Paper because I love them so much!!

So, with all that said, here's a couple card designs using the great set "Rue des Fleurs" in two different ways...both embossed with the umbrella in two different colors...with one colored. It's been so long since I've embossed any images, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed doing so!

The DSP paper, center die cut, brads, and stamp set above were all from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

My Sweetie's Valentine Card!

Ok, I gave my Sweetheart his Valentine Card, so now you can see what it looks like! :-) I'll also be posting some pictures of cards you all have sent me soon! I've only received one so far, so will wait a bit longer in case anyone else wants to send theirs!

I used the DSP from the 'Mocha Morning Specialty' and 'Neutrals Patterns' Designer Series paper sets, which I think are so versatile. Mixed with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso, it makes quite the masculine card. :-) I also love the new 'Designer Frames' embossing folders, which are available as a FREE item in the Sale-A-Bration catalog, so make sure to order yours! :-) They are great!

Here's my Sweetie's Valentine card! Hope it inspires you!

Stampin'Up! items used:
Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso card stock, DSP listed above, Designer Frames and Houndstooth embossing folders, Hemp twine,  I Heart Hearts stamp set, and the Poppy Parade and Early Espresso Stampin' Write markers.

Weirdly Winter

Are all of you having as mild of a Winter as we are here in Virginia? It's been mostly in the 50's and 60's!! ......Until last Saturday, when a freakish winter storm blew through......complete with blowing snow (40mph) winds and thunder and lightning. It was incredible! The ground and cars were covered in less than 10 minutes! It left as quick as it came, and by Monday we were back in the 50's. Woke to sunny skies and about a half inch of snow coverage. Kids were stoked!! They decided to spoon snow off the table outside and pour Sierra Mist over it before taking a bite! lol. Home-made slushy-on-a-spoon, I guess. :-)

Here's some pics of the playful (and cold) kiddos!

Fun had by all! It looked beautiful and I think I might have had my fill of Winter's temps that weekend! :-)

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day to my Sweetheart and to my wonderful family members and friends!! :-) I love you all very much! Hope you all enjoy a day full of memories with your Sweeties and are high on love and chocolate by the days end. :-)

As you can guess, I HAD to design a card for my Sweetie......BUT, you'll have to wait for another day to have a glimpse at it! I can't chance him seeing it here, before he has it in hand! So, I'll post a really simple card that I designed the other day using a new stamp set out of the Mini Occasions catalog. It's a tea set called "Tea Shoppe", but you'll see that I used the tea cups as 'Hot Chocolate' cups so you can see how versatile the set can be. :-) I love pink and brown together so it came together nicely.

Now, I'd LOVE to see the cards you have all made for your Sweetie's this Valentines Day!! If you'd like to e-mail me pictures of them, I'll take a day to showcase your cards here!! Just e-mail them to stamp2create@verizon.net and I'll be sure to post them soon!! Please include your name so I can give you credit for your card design! :-)

Here's the stamp set "Tea Shoppe" and the "Large Lace Punch" used for the border. The Designer Series paper used is from the Mini Occasions catalog called "Twitterpated".....beautiful paper! I'll be posting another card soon where you will see more of the designs in this pack!

So......hope you enjoy!!
