what a year so far!
In all the chaos, pandemic, riots and fears so far, it reminds us that we are not in control. Right?
Let's choose to take each day at a time, find the positives in each day, focus on the people and things that matter in our lives, treat everyone with respect and compassion....and just love!
I have to trust that God's got this.....and if we continue to hold our nation up in prayer, those prayers will cover and heal our nation! I know many of you are doing this already!
One of the positives right now is the new catalog! :-)
I have poured through it, marked it up for my wish list (far too long) and have a few items to play with.
I think one of my favorite sets is the Celebrate Sunflowers!
Reminds me of warmth, summer and all the gorgeous colors.
The background on this card was created by rubbing the ink pad across the embossing folder, laying the paper on top and then running it through the Big Shot. Neat effect! Have fun playing with this method.
Stampin' Blends were used in the coloring of the sunflower:
Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.
