For those of us married folk....we know very well how marriage is a journey! It's two imperfect people forging this journey of life together! If we focus on the imperfections in each other, we won't get very far.....but if we focus instead on the internal beauty of each other and how we can make each other's life better....it's going to be an amazing journey!!

I made this card as a Bridal Shower card for a family member getting married in August! She's just graduated Nursing school and has her whole life ahead of her. She's blessed to have found the man she wants to spend that life with. Wishing her all the joy that marriage can bring the two of them!

This card design was based on her wedding invite colors....it would be fun to do in any color combination a bride chooses! I added some pearls and some subtle glitter (not easily seen in the picture) and had a blast using the new Flourish die cuts!! Don't you want them now?! 😊

"Weather Together" is an adorable photopolymer stamp set! I've just begun using it....and Love that it has a matching die set with it!! You'll love it too!!

Hope you find creating with this set as fun as I did! Can't wait to come up with some more ideas for you in the future.

Love, LoVE, LOVE the new Flourish everything!!! The stamp set, die cuts and DSP are GORGEOUS!!
Are you as excited about them as I?! 😊

This card I knew was going to need a pop of color with the new Floral Boutique DSP! The navy and white patterns are so fun to play with, and after a little thought I decided on red as my color to contrast with the Night of Navy. (Pink was an option I considered, as was yellow, but settled on bold). 😊

The Birthday Blooms flower is a new acquisition for me! I'm so glad it stayed in the catalog for 2016!! I was excited to use it with this Designer paper!

The flower was colored in using SU markers in the following colors:
Real Red, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizazz, Old Olive and a favorite of mine, but recently retired, Mossy Meadow.

Baby Bear!

What a fun, adorable, three-step-stamp!! You'll love this set, complete with great sentiments! And just imagine all the colors you can stamp your bear in! 😊

I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso to create this little guy. Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry made his bow.

I felt the circle background needed a little more interest, so started cutting up the curly cue to add the loops behind the circle! It added just what I was looking for. 😊

Hope you have a blast designing your little bear!

Helping Me Grow!

Ladies, this stamp set is gorgeous! Think of all the colors you can use for these flowers!! I just love it!! I'm so glad they included it in the new catalog from the Occasions because I'm not done wanting to create with it! ☺️

This card was taught to my lovely group of ladies in Card Club and its using some DSP that's now retired as well as one of my favorite colors, Mossy Meadow. Sigh. It distresses me when a beautiful in-color leaves us!! Wish we could keep them all!! ☺️

So....enjoy the layout and design and gather your own favorite colors and just have fun creating with "Helping Me Grow!" It's photopolymer and easy to use! Don't forget the largest acrylic block when you order....it's a large stamp!

Turtle Cay!

It's finally Summer, and I wish for crystal clear water and white sandy beaches! :-) How about you?!
That, of course, was my inspiration for this card.

Beachy stamp sets will always call my name! THANK GOODNESS that "From Land to See" is still with us another year! :-) It's such a great set and pairs well with several retired sets that you might have!

What's an underwater scene without sea grass or coral? I had to get a bit creative with this one, so I turned the jellyfish in this set upside down and made his tentacles into sea grass! Easy Peasy! :-)

Crumb Cake was used for all levels of this card! Whisper White was used only to frame the turtle scene. FUN to make with Pool Party and Bermuda Bay for the water!

Ready to hit the beach now? :-)

So, how are you enjoying the new catalog?! :-) Have you ordered any new sets yet?! I am not-so-patiently awaiting my order, lol, and I'm dying to try out my new three step stamping sets that are coming!! Whoo Hoo!!

Speaking of three-step stamping.......How about "Picture Perfect?"  Have you had the pleasure of working with this fantastic photopolymer set?! I just LOVE the flowers and starfish and plan to create with the hummingbird soon. SO glad they brought this set from the Occasions into the new catalog. It's just lovely!

The colors I pulled together to create these flowers is the NEW in-color Peekaboo Peach, recently retired in-color Tangelo Twist, and Cajun Craze. The leaves were done with Pear Pizazz, Old Olive and Always Artichoke.

The background stamp "Hardwood" is a mixture of Tip Top Taupe and Crumb Cake.

Now, it's your turn to play with color and see what you come up with! :-) Don't forget your white embossing powder!
