I'm Here For You!

Sometimes, all someone may need to know is that we have their back and are there for them. How better to express that then with a handmade card showing up in their mailbox! :-)

This stamp set named "You've Got This" is perfect for the sentiment! Great images and sayings all in one set!

I chose to cut the stem off this flower and give it more of a 'lotus' look for this card....easier to float the image. :-)

I first stamped the flower in Versamark on Whisper White card stock and then used clear embossing powder to prevent color from bleeding over as I colored it with my Aqua Painter. Very easy and fun to do! Then simply cut out and pop up on your card!

Yes, yes.....I'm a little late on using a lot of my wonderful stamp sets....
That seems to be quite the norm these days. lol. I look forward to slower days when I have more time to 'play'.....so for now, you'll just have to be entertained by my tardiness in getting these ideas out to you. :-)

I adore this (now gone) Sale-A-Bration stamp set! I'm sure many of you have it, so I hope this card inspires you in some way!

I created the wooden door by stamping the woodgrain background on Crumb Cake card stock, cutting strips to create planks and just piecing them together. :-) Now, you try it! Drag out that burlap ribbon and start pulling threads and you'll create all different things!

Home With You!

Hard to believe that a new catalog will be coming out in June!! I'm SO excited and can't wait to see all the new stamps and products that Stampin'Up has to offer us!! April and May will drag with the anticipation, lol.

Well, I better get busy using all the wonderful stamp sets I have right now and hopefully give you some ideas for what you'll want to grab before they sell out on the Retirement List....coming soon!

This stamp set is photopolymer and called "Places You'll Go." Some of you may have it, so I'm sure you'll come up with many creative ways to use it in your deigns. I think it's adorable! Who knows.....sometimes stamps carry over into the new annual catalog.....maybe this one will be one of them?

I wanted to make the globe shiny, so I broke out my Crystal Effects. If you choose to do the same, make sure your inks are very dry as some of the colors will bleed if not bone dry. I created the colored background by just using my watercolor brush and applying colors in random spots. :-) Have fun with it!

The Designer Series Paper used here is from the pack named "Falling in Love." It's a beautiful pack and is found in the Occasions Catalog.

Remember the last day for ordering out of the current catalogs in May 31st. Once the Retirement List hits, products will sell out VERY FAST, so be sure to get your orders in early!
