Stitched Blessings!

The Holiday catalog has some amazing sets in it, and some are SO versatile that they can be used all year long for any type of sentiment. 

'First Frost' is one of those sets! Its very pretty and simple in it's ease of stamping and cutting out the images with the matched die cuts. Any color could be used for the flowers....it's all in your own imagination! :-)

I decided to incorporate 'Stitched Labels' Framelits into this design, and create my own background papers using the 'First Frost' stamp set. I also LOVE the 'Buffalo Check' background stamp and found it worked well with the floral background. 

Have fun stamping your own backgrounds and layering with your die cuts!

Snowfall!

Pink and gray.....always so pretty together and seemed fitting for use with the new snowflake set!

I'm a little late in posting this card, as Christmas has passed, but you can put any sentiment on this snowflake! :-)

Hampton Roads is biding our time for the first snow fall!

Our chances come this month, I think. :-)
I hate the snow as much as I love it....makes getting to work treacherous
but the beauty of it is undeniable.

Speaking of the snow, the snowfall die cuts are really neat!
Unfortunately they were available for only a short time and are no longer available.

Buffalo Check used again! Are you tired of seeing it used in my cards, yet? 

It's my go-to background stamp now when I don't have any DSP in the colors I need. :-)

This time I stamped it in Smoky Slate and then used my Petal Pink and Crumb Cake Blendabilities to add character to the stamped image and have it work with my design.
