Halloween Mini Card!

I love designing 3 x 3 cards! They are great for attaching to gifts and using as hang tags. Stampin' Up sells the perfect size envelope for them too! Great to make ahead for all those special occasions. With Halloween coming up, and needing to come up with something for my co-workers, I'm thinking a bag of goodies tied with some ribbon and the following card hanging from the baggie.....YOU could use it to attach to a bottle of BOOS! :-)

I don't know when I'd make time to stamp, if it wasn't for my Card Club group! So, Ladies....Thank you for making it important for me to carve out some time to prepare new card designs for you! :-)

Our move is done, the kids are about to start back to school and sports activities, there's still multiple projects to do in the house, but things are moving along! Hoping to be more regular in sharing cards here as I find a routine again. Lol.

Hoping everyone has had a wonderful Summer so far! I love the beach, and so any stamp sets that reminds me of it, I'm usually crazy over it! You all might be tired of this one already as I've used it multiple times.....but it's so usable!! :-)

Okay, when the new catalog came out, this set was a MUST HAVE based on cuteness! :-)

Had so much fun playing around in designing this card.....it went in several different directions at first, that eventually became this. :-) Does ya'lls stamping area look like a bomb went off on it while you are creating?

Mine does! I lose stuff in the piles it sometimes gets so bad! :-)

Had fun making this skirted card....using Stampin'Up's wonderful Designer Paper and these fun feathers! Believe it or not, they aren't hard to cut out......be as detailed or as simple as you like! :-)

I'm so glad that SU came out with the Framelits....so many uses and great for layering! Don't be
afraid to incorporate your own doodles into your card designs. Just have fun with it and see where
 it takes you!

Another B'day!

So.......another B'day went by for one of my girls! Carson just turned 11 right after Christmas! It's crazy how quick they grow and change......and it's such a different time from when I was that age. Styles, standards and temptations seem so much worse than in my day. It's tough on these kids and it makes you realize just how much more you have to keep an eye on them. I remember when I, and my folks, felt safe to let me walk to school 2 miles away, or ride my bike to the store, or clamber through the woods for hours at a time. You don't have the same security now.....too much craziness in the world. 

Anyway......lol.....I did make a card for her and I actually dug through my retired stamps looking for my favorite flower to make it with! It's from an older Hostess set called, "Because I Care." Hoping it inspires you to get creative in 2014 with whatever you have at your disposal! :-)
