There's not much worse than feeling lousy or sick...the feeling that your body is fighting you and you have no control over it. That's when you take the control back, feed it with the best nutrition possible, reduce your stress and get lots of rest....at least where you can! :-)
I have an Aunt that's fighting cancer and she's a tough Cookie!
She looks beautiful, even while feeling lousy....not sure how she does it!
It was a surprise diagnosis for her, but she is handling it with grace, humor and the willingness to fight it. Her positive attitude will get her though this tough period.
She's a nurse and has spent her career taking care of other people and now she's having to get used to being the patient. So thankful that my folks are close by and have the love, time and energy to be there for her through her fight. Please keep her in your prayers.
It's with her in mind that I designed this card to get in the mail to her. :-)
I used the beautiful rose from the 'Healing Hugs' stamp set. I love the way the design does all the shading for you!! This rose will be beautiful in whatever color you decide to use.
The sentiments are lovely too.
