Thanks goes out to my friend, Bridgette, for asking me to start up a Card Club!!
I'm pretty sure if she hadn't asked....prodded...and encouraged me to do so that I would have never found the time to do it. LOL. It's certainly something I wanted to get back to doing because it's SO much fun to watch others get excited about crafting, have a great time and have fun just getting away from it all for awhile. :-) With that said, it was a great afternoon meeting some wonderful women and having fun crafting! Looking forward to next months meet! :-)
Here's the two cards I taught in the Club today....hope you have fun creating your own version with these wonderful stamp sets!

I'm in love with these cards you've created! I wish I could attend your card club. Your techniques seem very unique, and I'd love to know how you created the beach on the second card.
ReplyDeleteI live in NS, Canada. I'm not a demonstrator, or a seller. I just make cards for my own enjoyment. Please message me, if you're willing to share some knowledge! I'd be grateful.

Card club was so much fun! I just love learning new things from you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWendy, these cards are beautiful. I wanted to let you know that I found the 2nd one through Pinterest and CASED it. I am posting my version on my blog tomorrow and will give you full credit for the design. It's beautiful! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThese are both great cards, but I REALLY LOVE all the detail in the "FRIENDS" card. Would love to know a little about how you did it! Like the starfish - is that a single layer, or multiple to give it the depth? How long did it take you to put all the little pearly dots on it? They are so nice and even! It is a really great card! Thank you for sharing!

Jo Ann, I cut out each shell and popped them up with dimensionals. The white dots on the starfish are made with just the white gel pen. Super easy!! Hope this helps! :-) I'm glad you like the cards and are inspired to create by them! Thank you!!
