I had the NEW Halloween DSP, which is very cute, but no current Halloween stamp set. So.......I dipped into my retired stamp pile (yes.....yes, I did! There's just some stamps I cannot give up!) and with some retired ribbon, set out to make a Halloween card. I admit, I wasn't very inspired by the theme, but I hope somehow it manages to inspire you! :-)

Bad to the Bone
Ok, I'm not a huge Halloween fan (except for the fun that the kids have) but I felt like I needed to make a card for it for those of you who find it one of your favorite Holidays. :-)

Giving Thanks
One thing I've learned in this life is that there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for in our lives....no matter the situation. :-) I am the most thankful for my husband, children, family and friends! I'm blessed to have each one of them in my life!
What are you thankful for? :-)
Thanksgiving is fast approaching and so I've been focusing on Harvest 'flavored' cards!
Hope you are inspired and ready to make your cards for Fall Birthdays and Festivities. :-)
I used the new Magnificent Maple stamp set from the Holiday catalog along with the adorable Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper. LOVE them!
The colors in this card are Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango.
How did I make the leaves?
Easy peasy! Just grab a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and start slop'in some color on it with daubers or a sponge....a little here, a little there....and then stamp the leaf right over the top! Crumple up your paper and then open back up and cut out your leaf! See? SO EASY!! :-)
Have fun!!

Nutty Thanks!
Fall is coming!!!.......I think, anyway. LOL
After todays 90 degree status, I'm not really sure where Fall is!
It being my favorite Season.....sweaters, jeans, earthy tones, pumpkin fields, family outings, etc.....I'm getting anxious for Fall to show up! How about you?
With cooler temps and Fall colors in mind, I set out to design some cards that reflect the Season.
See if they do the trick for getting you ready for sweater weather! :-)
I used the new Truly Grateful stamp set from the Holiday catalog, and had fun creating a wreath out of acorns! lol. I hope it works for you!
Did you know you can create your own fun plaids using just a brayer and your ink pads? That's all I did here for the splash of color at the bottom. Just ink up your brayer edge real well, and depending on the angle you touch the edge to the paper will determine how wide of a line you will get. It's kinda abstract, but cute and fun! Have fun with your colors! :-)
Here's a few of the items I used in this card:
